This “sketchbook” combines drawing, collage, and scrapbook elements to paint a portrait of Chinese/Taiwanese food. Employing Chinese characters, mixed with English, evocative names of food from Iced Soybean Milk to Stinky Tofu introduce the book as a kind of food log; however, the scrapbook expands beyond just a catalogue into a visual feast and a personal document.
