Harvest Moon

The moon has always been a part of our agriculture. People farmed by the changing faces of the moon long before they were growing food in LED bunkers and hydroponic parks. But what happens when we go from farming by the moon to farming on the moon? This volume of Lunar Insurrection is a study at the intersection of humans, plants, and our enduring co-evolution. To begin agriculture over again is potentially to start once more at the beginning of culture itself, where we may find nature more splendid, pleasurable, abundant, trimmed, edited, waxed, and polished than ever before —– an arcadian state.
